For a long time, custom embroidery seemed to mean one thing:
Choose an outfit.
Choose a design.
Add a name.
Place your order.
And wait.
There's absolutely a place for custom embroidery, but when I started thinking about what I wanted Hollow Creek Heirlooms to become, I kept coming back to a different idea.
What if shopping handmade could feel like walking into a little boutique?
See It. Love It. Buy It.
That's the experience I wanted to create.
Instead of showing you a blank garment and asking you to imagine what it could become, I want you to see the finished piece.
The embroidery is already stitched.
The colors are already chosen.
The outfit is already made.
You know exactly what you're getting.
And if it's the right size for your little one, it's ready to go.
No Name Required
One of the biggest changes I've made is creating embroidered clothing that doesn't need personalization to feel special.
I love finding designs that can stand beautifully on their own.
Teddy bears.
Sweet bows.
Little woodland animals.
Birthday designs.
Seasonal pieces.
Simple sayings.
Those designs allow me to create embroidered outfits ahead of time while still giving each piece the charm and detail you'd expect from handmade children's clothing.
Small Quantities Make Them Even Sweeter
I don't want Hollow Creek Heirlooms to feel like a warehouse filled with hundreds of identical outfits.
That's not what handmade means to me.
I love creating a few pieces at a time—and sometimes only one.
That means the selection will constantly change.
Something available today may not be there during the next drop, but something completely new will take its place.
Back to the Part of Handmade I Love
Creating this way lets me enjoy the process again.
I get to choose an outfit, find the perfect embroidery design, coordinate the thread, stitch it, photograph the finished piece, and put it into my little online shop waiting for someone to discover it.
No long custom-order list.
No weeks of waiting.
Just sweet embroidered pieces, made thoughtfully and ready to ship.
That's exactly what I want Hollow Creek Heirlooms to be.
A little handmade children's boutique tucked away in our hollow, filled with pieces waiting to become part of someone's childhood. 🌿🪡🤎
